3月音樂會

香港人今天不知他朝事，不會計劃得很長遠。吃飯不愛預先訂檯，看音樂會也很少提早訂票。上次Lacrimosa的香港音樂會，開場前夕只賣出一成門票，嚇得搞手「震過貓王」，豈料到正式進場的時候，座位都是滿滿的。

2008年相信是不一樣的一年，音樂會搞手要教識我們未雨綢繆的習慣。明年3月三場音樂會的門票，竟然不約而同現在已經開賣！

籌備了一年，我為華納唱片公司選輯的《Music & Wine - The Perfect Matching》終於面世。我充當葡萄酒與音樂之間的月老，將葡萄酒分成六個類別，再以不同風格的音樂配對，成就六段本世紀最美滿的「婚姻」。 我更會在2月26日，假座 Blue Smoke Bar-B-Que 替有情人舉行世紀婚禮。只要在 CD 內附的試酒會表格找到密碼，登入指定的網頁，即有機會參加，一同見證這項破天荒的酒音盛事。

第10期的《New Generation》換了「大度」，由19cm X 25cm加大至21cm X27cm，所以在封面右上角印著「20% Extra」，頁數卻仍維持是24頁。配合改度，版面設計也改了，算是漸入佳境吧。 這一期在1996年5月出版，重溫當時的《Gig Guide》，音樂會倒不少，不計Music Union舉行的Power Generator，單是來路的已經有 Edwyn Collins 、大西順子Junko Onishi、 The Cranberries 、 Masada (成員包括John Zorn、Dave Douglas、Greg Cohen和Joey Baron)和Santana。看看票價，同樣在紅館演出的 The Cranberries 和 Santana ，最貴門券都是＄480，十一年後， Linkin Park 叫價＄850， Beyoncé 更要澳門幣＄1,200！ Santana 將於明年3月再來舉行音樂會，不知票價又會是多少？ 不要以為加價是理所當然的，再看獨立樂隊的票價，1996年4月，LMF的音樂會收＄100，2007年11月的 Lonely China Day 音樂會也是收＄100(預購價)。搞獨立音樂的人，是值得我們致敬的。

白馬威水

小時候經常看到白馬威士忌的電視廣告，Slogan是「白馬威水，仲使講咩！」但在YouTube找不到，網上找到唯一相關的，亦只是我早前在《蘋果日報》寫的文章。以前喝白馬不知道為什麼會有泥媒味，直至喝過Lagavulin才真相大白。 今天在Ravenel的試酒會再遇「老馬」，據說是1941年版，還是首次喝到氧化味道的威士忌。更有趣的，是酒標印著白馬成立於1742年，調配配方沿於1746年，但白馬威士忌其實是Lagavulin新莊主Peter Mackie在1890年為出口市場設計的Blended Whisky品牌。
